Do I need this course?

The Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC) requires liquor license holders to schedule on each shift at least one seller or server who has completed an alcohol training course that meets the commission's standards. Our MLCC-approved training course is designed for cashiers, servers, bartenders, doormen, bouncers, and other professionals seeking certification to sell alcohol on- or off-premises.

The Michigan Liquor Control Code also states that license holders designated as responsible vendors by the MLCC must require all full-time and part-time employees to complete a server training program within 60 days of starting employment.

Once you've successfully completed the Michigan Responsible Beverage Server Training course, you'll receive your certificate of completion, which fulfills all MLCC training requirements and provides proof you've taken the course.
